It has been a wild and crazy ride the last 4 years. After doing a few last minute session in 2020 when the Covid restrictions lifted I have kind of gone into hibernation. A lot has changed, some good, some bad, but I’m back and ready to get rolling! Starting with a few images to showcase the little bits I’ve been up to. Just before the world went completely crazy, were talking days, I got to photography some beautiful girls for area high schools to promote the services of a couple businesses, one being my amazing ladies at Kiss and Makeup
Starting out- you’ll notice the website and blog have gotten an update. I’m also working on updating my Location Look Book, Pre-session tips, Pinterest boards– hello to a whole new just for business account! I’m sure you’ll all appreciate not wading through all my black holes of pins. If you have a session booked with me for your photos this summer I appreciate all your patience as I’ve worked through all the bumps in the road. As is typical for me it has been a lot of technical, web related issues.
Like I mentioned in 2020 I did a few senior sessions, I’ll share those separately, cause each senior (now probably almost college grad in some cases!) deserves their moment in the spotlight! I also did a few college graduation sessions. These were extra special since these college grads did not get a chance to actually walk for their ceremony. These photos were the main thing they could share with friends and family to celebrate their graduation.
In 2021 all was quiet I was working through some personal issues and realized I didn’t have the creative capacity to try to even market to seniors, let allow photograph them. However, when one of seniors from not too long after I first started in business reached out to me and asked if I would photograph their elopement I was all in! It was so fun and so easy to work with Jennifer again.
2022 brought just 2 seniors- one that has been a family friend for years and played Little League with my son for a couple years. And, the other was a senior from Deer Park High school, more about both of them later, but a quick peek for now.
And, we come to 2023. I did just one senior last year, but he was a special one- my son, Riley! Don’t worry I’ll be sharing more of his photos as well.
And, now we’re off to this year and I can’t wait to share all the seniors for the Class of 2025!
